Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Sarkari Naukari (sarkarinaukari.it.com) is an independent information portal for government jobs, results, admit cards, answer keys, syllabus, and related exam updates. This policy covers our website and our official Android app, which loads the same website in a secure WebView. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official website of any government or recruiting authority. See our Disclaimer.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account data. If you register or sign in (including Google sign-in), we store your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. Email accounts also store a hashed password.
• Saved jobs. Jobs you bookmark are stored against your account so you can open them later on the website or in the app.
• Password reset. If you request a password reset, we use your email address to send a reset link.
• Notifications. If you allow push notifications on the website or Android app, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token so we can send job, result, and admit-card alerts. You can turn this off in the app, in your profile, or in device settings.
• Usage data. Pages visited, search queries, and similar diagnostic information used to keep listings working and to improve the site.
• Device and connection data. Standard technical data such as browser or WebView type, OS version, and IP address as processed by our hosting and security providers (including Cloudflare).
• Support email. If you write to us, we receive whatever you include in that message (typically your email address and the content of your request).

3. Android app

The Android app displays sarkarinaukari.it.com. It does not include a separate advertising SDK and does not collect Google Advertising ID.

• Internet is required to load job listings and related pages.
• Notifications are optional. If granted, we may send FCM alerts about new jobs, results, and admit cards.
• Location is optional. Our current website does not collect GPS location. The app may prompt for location only if a page in the WebView asks for it. We do not use location for ads or tracking.
• Files. You can upload or download documents (for example PDFs) through the system file picker and Android Download Manager. The app does not use the camera or microphone.
• Crash reports. The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to send crash stack traces, app version, device model, and OS version so we can fix bugs. This does not include Advertising ID or ad tracking.
• External links (official apply pages, PDFs, social profiles) open in your browser or a Custom Tab. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

4. How we use information

We use your information to provide and personalize the service, keep you signed in, save bookmarks, send notifications you asked for, secure the platform, and understand which listings people need. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use Advertising ID, and we do not show third-party ads in the Android app.

5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

On the website (and in the app WebView) we use local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember recent searches, and store an FCM token if you enabled notifications. Session cookies may be used for authentication and security.

6. Analytics on the website

When analytics is enabled on the website, we may use Google Analytics with IP anonymization and Ahrefs Analytics to understand traffic. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. The Android app does not include Firebase Analytics and does not collect Advertising ID. You can limit analytics cookies in your browser settings.

7. Photo resizer and files

The photo resizer tool processes images in your browser or WebView on your device so you can prepare photos for applications. Images are not uploaded to our servers. We do not use that tool to access the camera or microphone. Files you download (notifications, PDFs) are saved by your device's download manager.

8. Third-party services

We use trusted processors to operate the service, including Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for Android crash reports, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and, on the website, Google Analytics and Ahrefs when enabled. Google sign-in is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. Official government and exam websites you open from our listings are independent; we are not responsible for their practices.

9. Data security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. API access uses token-based authentication. The website and app use HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. Data retention

We keep account data and bookmarks while your account is active. FCM tokens are kept until you disable notifications or they become invalid. You can sign out at any time to remove the session token from your device.

11. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can update your profile, remove bookmarks, and disable notifications from your account or device settings. You can also close your account by contacting us at the email below.

12. Children

Sarkari Naukari is intended for people exploring government recruitment and exam information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when our website or Android app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
